dc.description.abstractPropeller Test Case) provided by SMP'11(Second International Symposium on Marine Propulsors 2011). The calculations for the open water and cavitating performances of a marine propeller SVA VP1304 are carried out by using the Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS) method on a wall-resolved grid ensuring a y+=1, where the SST k-ω model is used for turbulence closure. For the cavitation flows, Schnerr-Sauer’s cavitation model is used. The present numerical results are validated through the comparison to model test results provided by SMP’11, showing a good agreement-
