dc.description.abstract | Recently, in accordance with the environmental regulations, Floating LNG Bunkering Terminal is an alternative to solve the problem. In this study, model tests for a Floating LNG Bunkering Terminal(FLBT) in extreme condition with turret mooring were carried out in coean basin at KRISO, The FLBT is moored by internal turret and catenary mooring line. The model scale was determined in consideration of the size of basin and specification of wave generator to 1/65. The experiments were conducted in combined environments included in wave, wind and current to evaluate the performance of turret mooring system and regular wave test in soft mooring configuration to assess the behavior of FLBT. The combined environments were generated by 9 hours in real scale for accurate the interpretation of statistics. The results showed that the yaw motion occurred by relative angle between wind and current. The mooring lines tensions are considered in detail design for FLBT | - |
