dc.description.abstract | Floatover is a method for an installation of a heavy topside module. A safety of floatover installation is evaluated by ND guideline. According to ND guideline, the criteria of barge’s motion and line’s dynamic tension must be satisfied.And the barge’s motion and associated docking mooring line and fender shall be analyzed in the time domain for several docking and undocking positions. In this study, time-domain simulations were performed to analyze at each docking stage, and docking stage were considered into three parts. The mulations were carried out based on docking stage flow chart, and mating components were analyzed in limited environmental conditions. The surge/sway fender, tether, mooring lines were modelled in this stage, warping lines were considered only for entry1. The response of lines were sensitive in long period wave conditions, the motion response also showed the same result. The large sway motion was appeared in 135deg wave heading conditions. The barge motion was decreased by the adjustment of mooring line’s stiffness. The analysis on the designed DTV vessel will be performed, the components that were reviewed in this study, will be evaluated in next study. | - |
