As human activities in the maritime domain become more frequent, the development of high precision positioning is required to support these activities. As the result of the need, a variety of navigational solutions including Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) has been developed to provide high precision positioning information. However, there is still a strong demand to develop backup navigational solutions in Positioning Navigation, and Timing (PNT). According to theAccessibility for Shipping, Efficiency Advantages and Sustainability (ACCSEAS) project performed by European Union (EU), R-Mode of combining Medium Frequency Differential (MF) DGNSS, AIS, and eLoran can be another solution to solve the current vulnerabilities in the GNSS navigation solution. In that study, it describes that Ranging Mode (R-Mode) is one of the backup solution, as using three of navigation method. The need of backup options in Korea also brings into light the signal of opportunity (SoOP). In order to implement R-Mode of combining navigational method to Korea territory, looking at the geometry of existing navigation infrastructure is necessary. This paper presents that this geometry would provideenough performance of R-Mode in regard to Horizontal Dilution of Precision (HDOP).-
