dc.description.abstractUnbalanced blades of wind turbine will cause lateral vibration of the turbine supporter. This paper investigates dynamic responses of wind turbine structure due to effect of the mass unbalance of rotating blades. A mono pile wind turbine supporter with three rotating blades is analyzed as a numerical example. Displacements and stresses of the example structure are calculated by finite element method (FEM) in time domain. By analyzing responses with increasing or reducing mass of one blade, the effect of mass unbalance on responses is investigated. By analyzing responses with changing rotation speeds of blades, resonant and asymptotic behaviors are also discussed.-
