dc.description.abstract | The hyper-elastic materials are widely used in aero-space and automotive engineering for a long time. In recent, offshore structure have been variously applied to a fabrication, transportation and installation of main component of offshoreplant such like a connections, mooring lines and docking absorber in recent years. It was performed that the experimental test of mechanical property for hyper-elastic in the laboratory using tension and compression measurement system. Theresults of experiment were compared with numerical simulation for tension and compression tests of hyper-elastic material. Finite element model of specimen was generated to simulate to compare with a tension and compression test. Accordingto result of comparison between test and simulation, it was proposed that a proper nonlinear material model can be used to get a mechanical characteristics of material for each stretch ratio. | - |
