dc.description.abstract | Float-over installation method is appropriate an installation of heavy topside sturcture. This paper presents an experimental study of topside installation using float-over installation method. In order to observe DTV motion and load variation charcteristics on DSU(deck support unit), LMU(Leg mating unit), model test with 1:35 scale ratio were carried out in wave basin of KRISO. The experimental model are DTV, topside and jacket structure. Load variation data of DSU, LMU and DTV motion data from model test were compared with the calculation results | - |
