dc.description.abstract | In this study, a series of experiments were conducted in 4 vessels located in close proximity. Regular waves were generated in the Ocean Engineering Basin of KRISO, which the range of wave frequencies was 0.3 ~ 1.2 rad/s and incident wave headings were 180, 225 and 270 degrees. Four vessels were installed with soft springs in oder to prevent models drifted off, while these mooring lines could not affect the first order motions induced by waves. Motion responses were arrangedto the Response Amplitude Operators(RAOs) in a frequency domain. Theses RAOs were compared with numerical results and analyzed with some interpretations of the existence of other floaters located in close proximity. | - |
