dc.description.abstract | In this study, the motion analysis of the Low-Motion FPSO(LM-FPSO) in frequency and time domain was performed while changing the shape of the Solid Ballast Tank(SBT). Frequency domain and time domain analysis were conducted using KRISO‧s in-house computer codes, LINDO and MOLINA, respectively. In frequency domain analysis, tendons between hull and SBT were modeled as linear springs, but in time domain analysis, mooring lines, risers and tendons were implemented as finite elements. As the result of analysis, it is confirmed that the added mass, damping, and heave RAO were linearly dependent upon the opening area of the SBT. Results of this study can be used as the basic data of the design of the SBT shape. | - |
