dc.description.abstractThis paper considers a numerical computation of ship maneuvering performance in waves. For this purpose, wave drift force is included in equations of maneuvering motion. The modular-type model (MMG model) is adopted for maneuvering analysis and two different seakeeping program is used for computations of wave drift force: AdFLOW based on Wave Green function method and SWAN based on Rankine panel method. The developed method is validated by comparing turning test results in waves with existing experimental data. Sensitivities of wave drift force on maneuvering performance are, also, checked.-
