dc.description.abstract | KRISO and Redone Technologies have developed a light work class ROV as a part of the Underwater Construction Robot Development project. Recently the light work class ROV, named URI-L, had trials in the dedicated basin at Gwangju and Pohang. The ROV has been developed as utility of underwater construction sites. The ROV has a site-mapping function to be helpful before construction work, functions of smart ROV, MMI with environment sensing and functions of various tools operation. The ROV system is on the way of development. This time fundamental tests, like a maximum speed test or 6-DOF motion tests were accomplished. | - |
