dc.description.abstract | In recent years, the need of screening inspection has been increasing by using cargo inspection system for smuggled cargoes and dangerous materials as the security is increasing based on world trends. Therefore, the many studies to improveidentification performance of cargo inspection system has been proceeding. In this paper, we introduce a cargo inspection system capable of three-dimensional detection for increasing of identification performance. The principle of three dimensional scanning is to scan cargo vehicles using two angles of an X-ray beam and an array detector system. After the scan completed, three-dimensional image is created by using the parallax information of the two scanned images. These images can be easily read with respect to overlapped objects. Thereby, the reading ability of the scanned image can be effectively improved. | - |
