dc.description.abstract | This paper deals with the magnetic field and eddy current analysis of a linear induction motor(LIM) using an analytical method. Finite element analysis (FEA) is mainly used for magnetic field analysis and eddy current analysis of LIM. The capabilities of LIM are influenced by the eddy currents occurring in the conductors of the secondary plate. Therefore, eddy current analysis caused by magnetic field distribution is an important. The results of magnetic field distribution and eddy current analysis using FEA are highly accurate. However, if the design variables of the model change frequently in the initial design, the analysis time will be significantly longer. On the other hand, the analytical method has the advantage of being able to understand the physical phenomenon by approaching it mathematically and physically, and can visually confirm the analysis results in a short time. | - |
