KRISO 고압 압력 챔버 소개와 최근 연구 활동

Abstract

Korea Research Institute of Ships & Ocean engineering (KRISO) is a government funded research institute and it was established in 1973. Since KRISO was established, it has carried out a lot of researches in a range of areas such as ship technology, offshore plant engineering, maritime traffic safety, marine accident response, marine equipment technology etc [1]. The High Pressure Chamber (Hyperbaric Chamber) is one of the key facilities in KRISO, which is the only one of KOLAS (Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) certified pressure chamber in Korea. In this presentation, the KRISO’s High Pressure Chamber will be introduced as well as related projects, which are on progress using the facility such as ‘Development of technology for evaluation of underwater safety performance of search and rescue equipment·. The buckling behaviour of thick cylinder subject to lateral pressure and axial compressive pressure will be presented, in this presentation. Theoretical and experimental analyses of the buckling of thick-walled circular cylinder are also discussed. Experimental test results under high external pressure in KRISO is presented and the test results are to be compared with numerical analysis results in this presentation. Furthermore, nonlinear and buckling behaviour of thick or thin-walled cylinders and flat plate covers subject to external hydrostatic pressure will be shown and discussed in this presentation.
