This paper discusses powering performance analysis results of 176K Bulk Carrier. This ship entered dock for regular inspection and check-up at November 2015. At that time, hull cleaning, painting and installation of Propeller Boss Cap Fin were carried out. On the other hand, authors collected the powering performance data during operation, which is shaft power, wind, sea water temperature and deviation of displacement. Also, wave and wind data were collected from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The added resistances due to wind, wave and temperature deviation are analyzed based on ISO15016:2015. The Fujiwara and STAWAVE II method were used to estimate the added resistance of wind and waves, respectively. For the speed-power estimation, direct power method is used. The results indicate that the estimated speed-power curves show the difference in powering performance before and after docking well. The powering performance is improved by about 25%, which may be mainly due to the frictional resistance reduction. It means that the developed analysis procedure in this paper is effective and can be used to estimate precise transport efficiency for operating ships.-
