dc.description.abstract | Floatover method is one of offshore structure installation methods. In the floatover process, the topside is installed on pre-setup supporting structure. Once the topside structure arrives at an installation site by a deck transportation vessel it would prepare for floatover operation. Floatover have 5 step process that are standby, alignment, docking, mating and undocking. While conducting floatover operation ocean environment like wind, wave and current applies to structures. Thus, in this works temporary mooring lines are needed for better operation such as guidance and safety. For analyzing deck transportation vessel on floatover working and temporary mooring lines, coupled analysis are conducted. Vessel is analyzed by high order boundary element method(HOBEM) and mooring lines are done by finite element method(FEM). By analysis motions of vessel and tension on mooring line are assessed. | - |
