dc.description.abstract | In this paper, wind induced current was investigated in KRISO’s Ocean Engineering Basin. Numerical models of wind induced current were introduced to compare with measuring test result of current profile. Two dimensional analytic solutionsbased on the empirical formular which is the logarithmic flow model and for the steady laminar flow were derived. Current profile measuring test of wind induced current generated by wind generator was performed to understand characteristicof wind induced current. The results of wind induced current effect study will be used to the development of the model test technique on the performance estimation of the offshore structure in Ocean Engineering Basin. | - |
