dc.description.abstractIn the previous study, for the estimation of current loads of the floating LNG bunkering terminal (FLBT), there was a significant discrepancy between numerical and experimental results. This difference may be due to the wind tunnel environment such as the boundary layer developed on the floor, and the blockage effect. Regarding this concern, there has been an important issue about whether its environment can affect the measurement of loads for the wind tunnel test. Some literature reported that the boundary layer and wind tunnel floor can significantly influence the flow separation and vortex shedding phenomena of test models, leading to the incorrect load measurements. Therefore, the numerical wind tunnel is considered to identify the aforementioned issue in the present study. As a result, the measured current loads of the FLBT in the numerical wind tunnel show a good agreement with those of the experimental data, which indicate that the wind tunnel environment can affect the load measurement.-
