dc.description.abstract | Deep Ocean Engineering Basin(DOEB) will be equipped with a wave generator, wave absorber, current generator, and wind generator to reproduce various environments. It is essential to improve the performance of the wave absorber to generate accurately various environments. To achieve this, we compared wave absorber performance test results which are the conventional water line height case and the additional case. Model tests were performed in KRISO 2D Wave Flume. The measurement configuration was determined at three different location to analyze the wave reduction performance through separation of incident and reflection wave. From the obtained results, we proposed a performance estimation method to increase the efficiency of the wave absorber by analyzing the wave period and wave steepness. | - |
