T-Navigation project covers Non-SOLAS ships in addition to SOLAS ships and provide services for the safety in Korean coastal waters by using a long term evolution maritime (LTE-Maritime) communication system as an infrastructure of this project. Before building LTE-Maritime communication system nationwide, a test-bed of this system was built in several coastal areas. The main purpose of the test-bed building project of LTE-Maritime communication system is to derive solving radio interference with Public Safety-LTE (PS-LTE), LTE-Railway (LTE-R) and mitigating non-Line-of-sight (NLOS) areas. Furthermore, radio interference with unknown signals neighboring countries and Ultra High Definition (UHD) broadcasting were discovered. This paper describes current status and the perspectives of the test-bed of LTE-Maritime communication system.-
