dc.description.abstract | Magnetic fields are very useful navigation signals in underwater environments where global navigation satellite system (GNSS) are denied. It can also be used for detecting unexploded ordnance (UXO) or mineral deposits. In this paper, we propose a method to autonomously map the underwater geomagnetic field using an unmanned surface vehicle. We also present the results of field experiments using the proposed method. | - |
