dc.description.abstract | - The flow characteristics of KRISO current generation system are studied through numerical simulations - Variable velocity profile (Golf of Mexico profile) is simulated by solving the unsteady Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations -Six culverts at the inlet and outlet are modeled and velocity at each culvert is calibrated to obtain desired velocity profile - The aspects of numerical simulation such as long time simulation, initial ramp velocity at each culvert, etc.are discussed. - Velocity distribution is analyzed and result is satisfactory in test section area | - |
