dc.description.abstract | Numerical simulations by using the overlapping grid were carried out to compare with the results of model tests. Before the numerical simulations about the wave impact were performed, the numerical simulations about the hydrostatic force of the model and free-decay were performed for validation between the model tests and numerical simulations. Also, the breaking waves were generated by using the focusing wave method and the wave velocities by time derivative of wave maker displacement were applied on inlet boundary condition in the numerical simulations. Following the validations of the incoming waves and body motions, wave impact simulations were performed, and the results between the model tests and numerical simulations were good agreement each other. | - |
