dc.description.abstractThis study measured the corrosion resistance of anodized Al 7075 surface with oil impregnation by the interfacial tension. Although 7000 series aluminum alloys have the highest strength among the aluminum alloys, its application to a marine environment is limited because of the weakness for corrosion. Various methods to enhance the corrosion resistance of the metal were investigated, and the anodized aluminum 7075 with the oil impregnation was analyzed. The interfacial tension of the surface was calculated by the formula proposed by literatures. The results indicated that the interfacial tension considerably increased after the anodizing, and the anodized aluminum surface with oil impregnation presented slightly increased value than the bare aluminum.-
