수평 배열 센서를 이용한 알루미늄 구의 음향 반향 관찰

Abstract

The features of acoustic scattering from elastic shells can be an important clue for discrimination between man-made objects and natural ones. The physics of such features has been studied theoretically by several researchers[1-2] and shown to be detectable using low- or mid-frequency sonars[3]. This study presents the experimental results of observing the acoustic scattering characteristics from an aluminum hollow sphere. We tried to measure the difference when the inside of the sphere is filled with air or filled with water using the uniform linear array with bistatic configuration.
