dc.description.abstractIn this study, numerical computation of turning performance of KVLCC2 in regular waves is considered. For this purpose, wave drift force is included in external force term of maneuvering equation of motion. To calculate wave drift force, SWAN1 program which is based on Rankine panel method is adopted and computed results are modified using experimental data. The developed method is validated by comparing turning test results in regular wave with existing experimental data. Also, the effect of wave drift force on ship maneuverability are evaluated-
