dc.description.abstract | In this study, a numerical simulation performed for a green water problem on ship-shaped offshore structure to exposed oblique waves. The results of a simulation compared with an experimental result to verify feasibility of CFD based numerical simulation method to apply on a analysis of motion of offshore structures. The relative waves along the side of offshore structure are compared with numerical simulation results in order to check the accuracy of the numerical method for the green water problems. By comparison steel photos of the experiment and snap shots of the numerical simulation, a physical procedure of sidewall green water are discussed. | - |
