dc.description.abstractIn the present study, the cavitation shapes are observed to find the submergence ratio and planing angle when the stern of the supercavitated body with a disk type cavitator is partially immersed in the water. To make the planing the angle-of-attack(AOA) of the body is varied statically against main flow. The forces influencing on the body are also measured to understand the relation between planing force and submergence ratio. It is found that the planing angle is not certainly proportional to the submergence ratio, and planing force is increased linearly as the submergence ratio.-
