dc.description.abstract | Because of the variability and dispersibility of ocean renewable energy, integrated convergence utilization system of ocean renewable energy have to be considered. KRISO carried out 'Feasibility study for integrated ocean energy utilization system’in 2000. In that, wave, tide, wind and solar energy had integrated for applying to South, East and West sea of Korea based on the characteristics of those energy resources. Recently, the system could be reorganized on the basis of the potential and the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) of each ocean energy sources published by the Korea Renewable Energy Corporation in 2018. On the other hand, it is necessary to prepare for the future of marine energy while considering the cost trend and combined use of on-land renewable energy. This study tried to overview the implementation of energy independent coastal communities and offshore energy base for supplying electricity and hydrogen for futuristic eco-friendly society. | - |
