dc.description.abstract | Gas hydrates has low energy efficiency for the use of ship fueling source. The mass of ice-formed gas hydrate leaves behind 70% to 80% of water by volume after the gas is recovered. However, gas hydrates can replace the ballast water of minimal ballast water ships (MIBSs) The methane of gas hydrates can also be used to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through hydrogen mixed combustion. In this work, a gas hydrate fuel supply system using the MIBS vessel was conceptually studied. | - |
