The application of CFD is expanding in the analysis of hydrodynamic loads in ships and offshore structures. However, CFD results in wave impact problems are still difficult to be sure that it has high accuracy. This is because researchers apply CFD analysis according to different levels of techniques and procedures. In order to have reliable CFD results on wave impact problems, a proper standard of CFD analysis needs to be prepared. For this purpose, it is important to verify the CFD results with reliable experimental results. It is motivated to carry out the model test of slamming and green water load on FPSO for the validation of CFD results. The present study considers slamming and green water loads acting FPSO based on the model test. A 1/50-scale model test was performed on the ocean basin of KRISO. The slamming load acting on the bow of FPSO was measured under breaking waves and the slamming impact was recorded using a high-speed camera. In order to see the variability of the slamming load, it was repeated 20 times for each condition. The green water load on the side wall of FPSO was measured in regular and irregular waves. The measured slamming and green water loads are presented and those characteristics are discussed.-
