dc.description.abstract | The number of maritime accidents has increased with the growth of maritime transportation. Maritime accidents are various in their cause and results. Also, the data for analysis are generally very scarce. Therefore, for an effective analysis of maritime accident, it is necessary to estimate unknown data in a convincing way based on scientific methods, and handle all collected data in a systematic way. This paper deals with system development to reduce the complexity in analyses of maritime accidents. The developing system is composed of systematic data handling part, intuitive data visualization part, and reasonable estimation of unknown data part. | - |
