dc.description.abstract | A new concept of an all electrified passenger car ferry and its removable electric power supply system are presented in this study. The climate change and air pollution problems are not only the regional matter for just one country anymorebut the global issues. Recently electrified ships are intensively studied as one of the solution for climate change and air pollution. In this study, a new concept for an all electrified passenger car ferry is introduced. The ferry is powered by the movable mobile electric power supply system, and thus the charging station or equipment for the ferry does not require in the port for the ferry. This powering concept can give more safety and economic benefits to the region in which the big tidal difference and typhoon exist. | - |
