dc.description.abstractA concept of an all electrified passenger car ferry based on movable power supply systems is introduced in this study. The climate change and air pollution problems are not only the regional problem but the important issue all over the world. Thus, electrified ships are intensively studied as one of the solutions for climate change and air pollution issues nowadays. In this study, a new concept of an all electrified passenger car ferry that can be used in small harbor conditions in Korea is introduced. The ferry is powered by the movable mobile electric power supply system, and thus the charging station or equipment for the ferry does not require in the port for the ferry. This powering concept can give more safety and economic benefits to the region in which the big tidal difference and typhoon exist.-
