dc.description.abstractThis paper introduces new AUV Conscious which is basically for developing control & navigation algorithms. Basic motivation, design concept, hardware components and software configuration are briefly described, which explains why we need this type of AUV. This AUV design allows us a fast development with sharing expensive high performance sensors such as DVL, FOG, and Modem. Basic functional tests in a basic, lake, and the sea have been carried and more systematic test will be planned to optimize and improve the AUV with collaborations.-
