dc.description.abstract | The water in natural gas in oil & gas platform can produce hydrates in the process, clogging the pipeline. The dehydration process for removing the water in natural gas in the oil & gas production is very important. Since the dehydration process deals with flammable gas, there is a high risk of fire and explosion, so proper risk assessment and management such as HAZard & OPerability Study (HAZOP) is necessary. Therefore, this study performed risk assessment through HAZOP Study on dehydration package that can remove the water in production gas below 0.1 ppmv in offshore floating LNG production platform. A total of 14 hazards were selected as major hazards, and 15 safety instrumented functions were derived as recommendations. | - |
