dc.description.abstract | After the Kyoto Protocol enters into force, many countries are conducting research for technology development on the Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion(OTEC) to reduce greenhouse gases. However, there are no commercially available OTEC plantsto date, and there is a lack of research on plant operation, control, and analysis of off-design points. In this study, a pilot plant was experimented with how the performance of the plant changes when the surface water temperature of the OTEC plant gradually decreases. Through the experiment, the results such as the amount of power generation and efficiency based on design points were compared. | - |
