dc.description.abstractIn this paper, a series of model tests were conducted with 2D aluminum plates, differed in lengths and thicknesses, in KRISO 2D wave basin. Impact hamming tests in different impact positions were performed in the air and partially submerged condition to four different 2D aluminum plates. The vibrating frequencies were achieved by strain gauges installed at the mid-line of models. The numerical simulations were also carried out in order to figure out the experiment reliability. Finally the effect of the partially submerged plate was summarized.-
