dc.description.abstract | This paper considers the structural safety evaluation of aluminum working platform for sea squirt framing. To evaluate the structural safety, we used the simulation-based analysis method for static and dynamic analysis. The simulation model was built in the commercial CAE software, DAFUL which can analyze the structural effects, dynamic effects, thermal effects, etc. The aluminum platform will be operated in the ocean. Therefore, the ocean environments and extreme conditions should be applied in the simulation model for safety evaluation. The applied environments are wave and wind. The wave is considered as platform motion by wave height, and the wind is considered as wind pressure using by morrison equation. As the simulation results, the aluminum 6063-T5 material can be used for working platform. The operation safety is acceptable. | - |
