dc.description.abstractOcean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) demonstration plant was manufactured and assembled onto rectangular barge in the August of 2019 in Busan port, and was towed and installed in late September of 2019 in the offshore of Guryongpo, southern part of the East Sea to carriy out short-term demonstration and performance evaluation experiments. As the temperature difference between the surface seawater and the deep seawater was not sufficient, the target output was not achieved,but the world's largest output of 338 kW was confirmed. Based on this, we are conducting reinterpretation and improvement studies to achieve the target output (1000kW) when installing the equatorial OTEC site.-
