dc.description.abstract | In this study, the wave generation simulation code was developed using the spectral method to simulate the wave tank. The pseudospectral basis of the Cosine function was used to apply the wall condition of the wave tank. Time integration was carried out using the Runge-Kutta fourth-order method for stable wave generation simulations. The cut-off method through half-rule was used to remove the aliasing effect. The embedded wave generation technique was applied for wave generation. To observe the characteristics of the embedded wave generation technique, the wave generation method using oscillation of free surface elevation and the wave generation method using the additional potential method were compared. Through the above comparative study, the simplicity and efficiency of the embedded wave generation technique were confirmed. | - |
