dc.description.abstractStereo vision technique and edge detection algorithm are applied to extract three-dimensional coordinates of ship waterline. Published advanced calibration algorithm is applied for improving accuracy of the system. Those methodologies arecombined and applied for model test in towing tank. Repeatability is analyzed for zero mean waterline and run-up waterline with advancing speed during the test. Efficiency, accuracy and reliability of this process; and on-going developmenttopics are discussed.-
