dc.description.abstract | The fully Electrified-Car Ferry, which will eventually replace traditional car ferries, is the key subject in order to diminish the fossil-fuel emissions. The heat induced by electric motor operation is just released in the water, while there are several needs of heat. in this study, we developed two methodologies to utilize the present waste heat by electric motor. Two developed methodologies are categorized as the low-temperature waste heat and the hot waste heat. Consequently, the first design can recover 11.28% of waste heat at service speed and the latter one can recover 29.4% of waste heat in two scenarios. | - |
