dc.description.abstract | In this study, a model test was conducted to evaluate the seakeeping performance of KRISO standard Semi-submersible, KSEMI. The model test was carried out with a 1/50 scale model, and 12 mooring lines were included. Due to the limitations of the Ocean Engineering Basin's water depth, the truncated mooring line was designed and applied in this model test. Measurement items were 6-DOF motion, mooring line tensions, and wave run-up around the column and deck side. The uncertainty analysis was carried based on the ISO-GUM(International Organization for Standardization, Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurements), which is referenced in ITTC Recommend. This study describes about the measurement uncertainty for each source such as GM setting and global response in regular waves, which can occur during model test preparation and procedure. From this study, the major component of uncertainty for model test can be identified and help improvethe model testing accuracy. | - |
