dc.description.abstractIn order to analyze the fuel consumption of eco-friendly ships promoting ammonia fuel, which is currently being developed due to international demand for alternatives due to environmental pollution caused by ships, we analyzed a model of ammonia transporting ship, which is most likely to be initially applied, and analyzed HFO consumption according to engine output in advance. The applied ammonia-carrying ship is a 16,080kW class model crossing the United States and Europe, with a fuel consumption of 2,714kg/h at 100% load. At this time, ammonia fuel conversion rate of 2.17 was applied to confirm the maximum fuel amount of 5,909kg/h and the consumption per output of 368.9 g/kWh based on the same engine power. Through this study, it will be used for fuel consumption analysis according to operational characteristics in the future.-
