dc.description.abstract | Recently, power generation systems using marine renewable energy have been spotlighted as a key issue for environmental regulation and carbon neutrality. Accordingly, research on power generation systems using various marine energy such aswind power, tidal power, and wave power are being actively conducted. However, since these marine energies are large energy sources with volatility, large loads are generated when operating mechanical systems that converts marine energy into electrical energy. Eventually, these loads degrade power generation efficiency. In order to increase power generation efficiency, the ship and offshore research institutes are conducting research with the goal of predicting the intake size of energy sources by applying digital twin technology, performing power generation control through the predicted values, and increasing power generation efficiency. Among several marine energy power generation systems, this study is conducting the development of optimal predictive control technology using digital twins for the oscillating wave power generation system developed by the KRISO. This paper intends to conduct a review and presentation of the research results. | - |
