Abstract
The method, the objective and the parameters of human modeling is divided into two categories according to the applicable fields; biomechanical field for human injury and ergonomic field to improve conditions in various working environments. The objective of this paper is to develop a proper mathematical human model for Low Back Pain (LBP) and musculoskeletal injury of crew in a maritime vehicle. In this paper, the parameters for biomechanical and ergonomic field with an assumption of human model for Whole-body Vibration (WBV) are reviewed. In addition, the resonance imposed to spine is evaluated within the range of vibration of a maritime vehicle. The relationships of resonance for LBP and musculoskeletal injury are also explained.
