- 총톤수 995톤의 유조선 경신호는 1988년 2월 24일 벙커유 2560kl를 적재한 채로 포항대보등대 동북방 3.5마일 지점에서 침몰하였다. 침몰 이후 현재까지도 침몰해역에는 적은 양의 기름이 지속적으로 유출되고 있는 실정이다.
