dc.description.abstract | The mobility handicapped person means a person whose mobility is limited as a result of permanent severe physical disability such as the disabled persons, the pregnant women, and the elderly persons. The ratio of the mobility handicapped person in Korea is about 25.8% among the entire population. However, compare with the development in maritime transportation environments, it is true that the efforts to construct a more usable and convenient maritime transport mode has been quite insufficient. In this paper, a review of current status and analysis of improvement plan for the mobility handicapped person in passenger ship have been carried out. | - |
