dc.description.abstractThe link budget is a tool to make an analysis of the power flow for a communication system. In this paper, the underwater acoustic communication(UAC) link analysis is presented. The UAC link is divided into transmitter, channel and receiver and then the signal powers and the noise powers of the UAC link are modeled and analyzed. Also, we estimate the absorption coefficient of the coastal area of Geoje and East Sea and present a link budget for a UAC system whose carrier frequency is 50KHz.-
